Braiding is hard on yourself...

I'm not all that skilled at braiding on my own head... but I think this turned out pretty good! :)

Braids

I love braiding. I remember being entranced when I was little watching my mom french braid her own hair. I didn't understand how it could be possible to braid your hair without being able to see it. I practiced and practiced and practiced some more and finally got it down. And then I was hooked. I had always hated doing my hair, but braiding seemed different entirely. There were so many different ways to braid, and none of them were extremely difficult (from what I knew). Not only was I capable of doing them, they were BEAUTIFUL. Looking at pictures of braids mesmerizes me, and I love figuring out how to do different styles. So I've created this blog in the hopes of helping aspiring hairstylists or experienced braiders or just anybody who wants to know how to braid.
